Racism is alive and well in America

Despite President Obama releasing his “Certificate of Live Birth” and, subsequently, his “Long Form Birth Certificate”, the racists are still out there plugging away with their rancid conspiracy theories.

I recently read this piece of stupidity which is par for the course for these racist idiots.

Feeding into the idiocy are Alex Jones, Jerome Corsi, World Net Daily, and others. Jones is just a common or garden conspiracy theorist, upon whom Glen Beck seems to have fashioned his craziness. Corsi and World Net Daily, on the other hand, seem quite happy to invent rancid theories about Obama, which they then spread to their psychotic followers. What they produce is racism pure and simple.

There are many others who wallow in the sewer of racism that underlies today’s Conservative movement. Corsi and World Net daily are not alone. The whole Birther movement wallows in that sewer, as do many of the Conservatives on Twitter and many who author Right-Wing blogs. What was hidden over the past forty years is now out in the open, and it’s all directed at Obama. It’s pathetic racist hysteria, but is also quite dangerous.

Behavior like this, which leads to destruction, harm, and hate, should never be tolerated. What can we do about it? Well, we need to bring the purveyors of racism out into the open and then follow the directions of Thomas Jefferson, who said: “Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions”.

So far, I think either Alan Keys or Herman Cain would make better presidents than the rest of the field I’ve seen, (with the possible exception of Ron Paul if he would dump his gold-standard crap). And I think they’d certainly be better than the one we got. Am I a racist? Perhaps that makes me a sexist, since I’m not singing the praises of Bachmann or Palin. There, you have a new blog topic.

I’ve never considered myself a birther. In fact I laughed at them as an unhelpful distraction, until the day I picked apart for myself the layers on the long form pdf that was published. Now I have to wonder what was going on there — it looks like there’s been some amount of dishonesty. Open it for yourself in the Gimp. It doesn’t take advanced experience in image processing to notice the hi-jinx. I figure it’s something scandalous they’re trying to hide but I doubt it’s a glaring disqualification for the presidency. So, do I have too much of an ‘inquisitive mind’? Where is you inquisitiveness? Is it tied up searching for some scrap of evidence for your foregone conclusion of a conservative movement underpinned by racism? I hear much more call for an egalitarian society

Speaking of unintelligible propositions, your conclusion of racism is simply non sequitur. It’s not only unproven, but I see no actual evidence laid out in your writing. Why did you bother?

Hit the button too soon. meant to write: “I hear much more call for an egalitarian society based on merit over race from conservatives.”

Some of them make beautiful noises, but their actions are a dead giveaway. The poor & sick are seen by many Conservatives as an encumbrance to their wonderful lives.
